Billboard please include the design file you would send to the printer with correct scaling 1 inch = 1 foot, as well as a photoshop mock up of how it would look on an actual billboard. Remember to keep your design VERY simple, direct and to the point.
File Preparation for Printing a billboard –
To insure the highest quality, the following digital file guidelines are recommended for billboard production:
Adobe Photoshop: 300 dpi (min) CMYK (.tif, eps, psd w/layers if possible). Scale at 1/4 inch = 1 foot or 1/2 inch =1 foot. (make sure the printer know the scale you have chosen)
Adobe Illustrator: 300 dpi (min) CMYK, .ai, .eps, or high res .pdf, convert all type to outline, link or provide any support files. Please scale at 1 inch = 1 foot.
A hard copy sample or PMS colors (solid to process) will always result in a better color match.
Typically you can print up to 16 feet wide without any seams, at any resolution, and at almost any length. Beyond 16 feet, most places have in-house seaming equipment that enables the completion of virtually any sized project.
