This is a letter to the print or advertising company where you will order the prints/advertising, the goal is to find out the cost and details of the how it will be presented. You most likely would need multiples (6) of these for each company you are sending the request too unless you can order magazine, newspaper and billboards from the same place. Please have a requests from a local company and a national company (internet)

Should include:

Your contact information – this needs to be on the vendor request so they can get back to you, it most likely should be included in your letterhead design, but if not you need to add it to the request.

  • Your Design Company Name
  • Your Name
  • Email
  • Website?
  • Phone number
  • Date – (Don’t include the year)
  • (Don’t include a mailing address)

Vendor contact information

  • Vendor Company Name
  • Contact person (if available)
  • Email
  • Website?
  • Phone number
  • Date – (Don’t include the year)
  • (Don’t include a mailing address)

Printing Specs – should say:

“Please provide a quote for the following project and email back to us at … as soon as possible.”

Items you are quoting for go here with all details involved.

Magazine – Ad placement and size of ad (this is up to you) in …. Publication. Please choose a publication that is relevant to your topic.

Newspaper – Ad placement and size of ad (this is up to you) in … Publication. Please choose a publication that is relevant to your topic.

Billboard – Printing and Installation

“Thank you for your time.”
